Ashoka- my biography

Hello, my people 

 You may know me as Ashoka your great king the ruler of Chandragupta in India. It is often said that i’m cruel and have a heart of stone because I owned a lot of slaves and even killed my own parents and also my darling brothers. Yet I have changed to a better being and achieved so many thing. Starting of by spreading Buddhism, a religion of pice and kindness. I decided to start this religion after the aftermath of the war it was too much violence and many people lost their lives in the war. I have four Edicts, starting of by Buddhist Values, that are basically being respectful and loving. In second is General Welfare meaning  people have good health, shelter, clean water, and enough food. The third one is justice it’s simply being fair. Finally Security it’s just making sure people are safe and protected.You may ask why I’m important to people, well I’m really powerful and i’m capable of so many things in addition I’m also a unique ruler as I have said I started a religion and shared my beliefs more over I rule with peace and respect. In conclusion I’m a good person and I’m trying to spread kindness instead of violence. Thank you
